Technical - Heat Soaked Glass

Why?
The heat soak test is carried out on tempered glass and is used to minimize the risk of spontaneous breakage's in situ, caused by Nickel Sulphide inclusions.

How?
The glass is placed in a chamber and is subjected to high temperatures and then cooled in a predetermined cycle this accelerates nickel sulphide expansion, and causes glass containing nickel sulphide inclusions to break in the heat soak chamber. Reducing the risk of potential breakage's when the glass is in situation.

As shown in figures, the principle of product is as follows:　　

(1)When smart glass is turned off, the high molecular liquid crystal material in glass presents disorder arrangement, light can not pass through the glass, the glass appears cream white nontransparent state.　　

(2)When smart glass is turned on, due to the effect of the electric field, the high molecular liquid crystal material in glass presents ordered arrangement, light can pass through the glass, the glass appears transparent state.

1,Product features
Switchable privacy glass makes use of international patent technology principle, attaching novel liquid crystal material and high molecular material to foundation material such as glass and thin film material, making out switchable glass by applying circuit and control technology. It can controls the color shade of glass and regulates the sunshine strength into the indoor by controlling the changes of current and voltage, making the room ray soft, comfortable but still transparent. When power turn-off, the glass blur, otherwise, glass turns to transparent, this change takes less than 0.1 seconds. switchable glass is used in door window of building, it can auto-transform light transmittance, and also needs smaller space, saved the utensils and spaces such by normal curtain, and this result in the window glass is as convenient as electronic-control curtain. 2,Usage and function of product

1) Usage　　
(1)When privacy glass is used to make door window and various glass partition walls, it can control the color shade of glass and regulates the sunshine strength into the indoor by controlling the changes of current and voltage, making the room ray soft, comfortable but still transparent.　　(2)When privacy glass is used to make rear projection screen, when the glass is in the transparent state, the projection screen can display background decoration pattern or can act as glass wall of meeting room; When the glass is in the nontransparent state, the projection screen can be a imaging curtain, and it has the advantages of legible image, high luminance gain. Switchable glass can be used for the rear projection screen of projector, record player and laser imaging system.　　
(3)When privacy glass is used to make bulletinproof glass and exhibit cabinet glass in Banking, Jewelery, and Exhibition industry, when the glass is in the normal operating mode, the glass is transparent, otherwise, when it subjects to pillage or stop operating, the glass can be made nontransparent by various ways, such as remote control, thus the criminal is forced to lose intimidate object that personal and property safety can be protected to the greatest extent.　　(4)When privacy glass is used for shower room in high level guesthouse, company and household, the user can freely make the glass transparent or nontransparent as his(her) needs, thus the user can protect personal privacy and get more joy of living.
